I am honored to serve the City of Newark as Chief of Police. My critical responsibilities include implementing the vision and policies set forth by the Police Director, while managing the NPD’s day-to-day operations.

The Police Director and I are committed to enhancing police presence and effectiveness in our neighborhoods. We will maintain open lines of communication so that we can better understand neighborhood crime and disorder, as well as our residents’ views and opinions of our organization.

We believe that engaging the talents and energies of our diverse communities is vital to ensuring our success. Despite tough times, Newark’s communities and police officers can work together to overcome any challenge to reducing crime and fear in our neighborhoods.
